Free Website Analyzer: speed, SEO & security

Paste any URL and get a real report in about 30 seconds: Core Web Vitals, 50+ SEO, security and email checks, and a prioritised list of what to fix first.

What the analyzer checks

Five areas, 50+ checks, one prioritised report

Most website checkers test one thing. This one looks at the five areas that decide whether a site gets found, trusted and used, and tells you what to fix first.

Speed

A Google Lighthouse run on a simulated mid-range phone, plus the real-world Core Web Vitals Google has collected from Chrome users. We also time your server's first response and check compression and caching.

30% of the overall grade

SEO

Title and description length, headings, canonical tags, indexability, Open Graph and Twitter cards, structured data, image alt text, internal links, content depth, robots.txt and your XML sitemap.

25% of the overall grade

Security

HTTPS and redirects, certificate trust and expiry, TLS version, HSTS, Content-Security-Policy, clickjacking protection, mixed content and server version disclosure.

20% of the overall grade

Mobile & accessibility

Viewport and zoom settings, form labels, button and link names, page landmarks and the Lighthouse accessibility score, so the site works on phones and for assistive technology.

15% of the overall grade

Domain & email

Whether the domain resolves, IPv6, nameserver redundancy, MX records, and the SPF, DMARC and CAA records that protect your email and certificates.

10% of the overall grade

And what it does not do

It does not estimate your traffic or invent numbers. Search traffic and rankings come from Google Search Console and your analytics, not from a scanner. If a check can't be measured, the report says so.

Fix these first

Ranked by how many score points each fix is worth.

  1. 1

    DMARC record

    missing
    Medium impactlow effort

No DMARC record, so spoofed emails using your domain won't be rejected.

Publish a TXT record at _dmarc.yourdomain with v=DMARC1; p=quarantine, then tighten to reject.

  2. 2

    Form fields have labels

    0 of 4
    Medium impactlow effort

    4 field(s) have no label or aria-label.

Associate a label element, or an aria-label, with every input.

  3. 3

    Content-Security-Policy

    missing
    Medium impactmedium effort

    No Content-Security-Policy header.

Start with a report-only policy, then enforce a CSP that lists the script and style sources you use.

  4. 4

    Clickjacking protection

    missing
    Low impactlow effort

The page can be embedded in any other site.

Send X-Frame-Options: SAMEORIGIN or a CSP frame-ancestors directive.

  5. 5

    HTML document size

    588 KB
    Low impactlow effort

The HTML document is large. Smaller pages parse faster.

Remove inlined data and unused markup, and paginate or lazy-load long lists.

Every check

Lighthouse lab data, Core Web Vitals, server response time and delivery.

HTML document size

588 KB

The HTML document is large. Smaller pages parse faster.

Why it matters: A very large HTML document is slow to download and parse, especially on mobile networks.

How to fix: Remove inlined data and unused markup, and paginate or lazy-load long lists.

Server response time

169 ms

The server starts responding quickly.

Why it matters: Every other speed metric waits for the server. A slow first byte delays the whole page.

Text compression

br

HTML is compressed in transit.

Why it matters: Uncompressed HTML, CSS and JavaScript can be three to five times larger than needed.

Browser caching headers

public, max-age=0, must-revalidate

Caching headers are present.

Why it matters: Without caching headers, returning visitors download the same files again.

Redirect chain

1 redirect

The page loads with at most one redirect.

Why it matters: Every redirect adds a full round trip before the page starts loading.

Lighthouse performance score (mobile)

Google's PageSpeed service is busy right now. Try again in a minute.

Why it matters: Slow pages lose visitors before they read anything, and Google uses page experience as a ranking signal.

Largest Contentful Paint

Google's PageSpeed service is busy right now. Try again in a minute.

Why it matters: LCP is how long the main content takes to appear. Over 2.5 seconds feels slow and hurts rankings.

Cumulative Layout Shift

Google's PageSpeed service is busy right now. Try again in a minute.

Why it matters: Content that jumps around while loading causes mis-taps and a poor experience.

Total Blocking Time

Google's PageSpeed service is busy right now. Try again in a minute.

Why it matters: Long JavaScript tasks freeze the page so taps and clicks feel unresponsive.

First Contentful Paint

Google's PageSpeed service is busy right now. Try again in a minute.

Why it matters: FCP is when visitors first see anything. A blank screen makes people leave.

Scores weigh only the checks that were measured. Unmeasured checks never add or remove points. How scores work

How scores are calculated

Every point is explained

Each check has a weight. A pass earns its full weight, a warning earns half and a fail earns none. A category score is the points earned divided by the points available for the checks that actually ran.

The overall grade is the weighted average of the five category scores: Speed 30%, SEO 25%, Security 20%, Mobile & accessibility 15%, Domain & email 10%. A is 90 and above, B is 80 to 89, C is 70 to 79, D is 55 to 69 and F is below 55. Checks that are informational or could not be measured never change a score.

FAQ

Website analyzer questions, answered

How do I check my website speed for free?

Paste your URL into the analyzer above and press Analyze. In about 30 seconds you get a Google Lighthouse performance score for mobile, Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, TBT, FCP) and our own server checks for response time, compression and caching. No signup is needed.

What are Core Web Vitals and why do they matter?

Core Web Vitals are Google's page-experience metrics: Largest Contentful Paint (how fast the main content appears), Cumulative Layout Shift (how much the page jumps around) and Interaction to Next Paint (how quickly it responds). Pages that score well give visitors a smoother experience and have an edge in Google's page-experience ranking signals.

Is this website checker really free?

Yes. The analyzer, the full report and the PDF download are free, with no account and no email required. If you'd like our team to fix what the report finds, we offer a free fix plan first, then a quote for the work.

Why is my score different from PageSpeed Insights or GTmetrix?

Speed tools run from different locations, devices and network settings, so lab numbers always differ a little. Our speed score uses Google's own Lighthouse engine (the same one behind PageSpeed Insights). Our overall grade also includes SEO, security, mobile, accessibility and DNS checks, which PageSpeed Insights does not cover.

What does the security check look at?

We check that the site is served over HTTPS, that http:// redirects to https://, that the certificate is trusted and not about to expire, the TLS version, and the main security headers: HSTS, Content-Security-Policy, X-Frame-Options, X-Content-Type-Options, Referrer-Policy and Permissions-Policy. We also look for insecure resources on secure pages. This is a surface check, not a penetration test.

Why does the report check SPF and DMARC?

SPF and DMARC are DNS records that stop other people sending email that pretends to come from your domain. Without them your genuine emails are more likely to land in spam, and Google and Yahoo require them from bulk senders. The analyzer reads these records straight from DNS.

Why were some checks marked 'not measured'?

We never guess. If a check can't be completed (for example Google's speed test is unavailable or the site blocks our scanner), it is shown as not measured and left out of the score instead of being given default points.

Can you fix the problems the analyzer finds?

Yes. AppClust builds and improves websites and custom business apps. Use 'Get my free fix plan' on your report and our team will review your results and reply with what to fix first, how long it takes and what it costs.
