Visa flight reservations and document delivery for DummyFares

DummyFares sells temporary flight itineraries and verifiable reservations used as visa and onward-travel proof. The product had to search a route, take passport-matching passenger details, and deliver a document without selling a boarding ticket.

The problem

Visa applicants are often asked for a flight reservation before they are willing to buy a non-refundable ticket. A normal booking site sells a seat. DummyFares has to sell a different document, and say plainly that it is not a ticket you can board with.

The order is personal and time-sensitive. The passenger name has to match the passport, the route and dates have to match the application, and the PDF has to arrive by email or WhatsApp in time for an appointment. A fare grid with no document types does not do that job.

The solution

The flow is search, passenger details, payment, and delivery. Buyers choose a flight itinerary or a verifiable reservation with a live PNR, and a flight-plus-hotel option when the application asks for both. The page states that these are temporary reservations for documentation, not boarding passes.

Guides and a FAQ cover what a dummy ticket is, how a PNR is checked, and how long a reservation stays valid. Mobile apps extend the same booking, so a traveller can retrieve the PDF without searching an inbox.

The same approach is how AppClust builds service-business modules.

Modules built

These are the records the DummyFares site runs on. Each one is content the team can update without a new design.

  1. Module 1

    Route search

Departure, destination, and dates, so the reservation matches the visa application.

  2. Module 2

    Passenger details

Names captured as they appear on the passport, which is the detail embassies compare.

  3. Module 3

    Reservation products

Flight itinerary, verifiable reservation with a live PNR, and a flight-plus-hotel proof option.

  4. Module 4

    Document delivery

The PDF returned by email or WhatsApp, and again from the account or the mobile app.

  5. Module 5

    Guides and FAQ

Pages on dummy tickets, PNR checks, validity, and the difference between an itinerary and a verifiable reservation.

  6. Module 6

    Support

A help path for travellers who need the document checked before an appointment.

Results

What the published site does for the business. These are operational outcomes of the build, taken from the live pages.

  • The product is distinct from a ticket

The site says these are temporary reservations for visa proof and onward travel, and that they are not boarding passes.

  • Two proof levels are choosable

A standard itinerary and a verifiable reservation with a live PNR cover the two requests applicants actually get.

  • Delivery is part of the order

Email, WhatsApp, and the app are how the PDF gets to the appointment, not a later manual step.

  • Guides answer the objections

FAQ pages cover legality, verification, and validity, which is what a first-time buyer needs before paying.
